Inkinen Piano Trio
In their debut concert at London’s Wigmore Hall, the Inkinen Piano Trio presents one of Sibelius’ most popular works from his youth, plus Tchaikovsky and Ravel’s A minor trios.
Formed in 2005 by three prize-winning young artists, the Inkinen Piano Trio has begun to gather a real following in Finland and further afield. Violinist Pietari Inkinen is also active as a conductor across the world. In this, their debut concert at London’s Wigmore Hall, the group presents one of Sibelius’ most popular works from his youth, a trio named after the coastal town where the composer spent the summers of his early twenties. Tchaikovksy's massive A minor trio precedes Sibelius' by six years, whilst Ravel's dates from around the time of Sibelius' prime.
