The Barbican Centre will present four films as part of their
mini-festival, "Sibelius on Film", this November. Those with tickets to
the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra's concerts ("Sibelius Unbound")
are entitled to film tickets at concession rates. Please note that the
performance of Themes from Heaven has unfortunately been cancelled.

"The Profound Logic"
Another new event has come under the banner of Sibelius & Beyond.
The latest 'Inner Circle Seminar' in London's Regent's Park focuses on
Sibelius' meeting with Mahler in Helsinki, 1907, in celebration of the
100th anniversary of that discussion and the 50th anniversary of
Sibelius' death.

Correction to the programme: Friday 2 November
The
concert on Friday 2 November at the Royal Academy of Music is
incorrectly listed in the festival brochure as being on Thursday 1
November.
Please note that the correct date is Friday 2 November!
