Traditional Finnish songs, and music by Grieg, another Scandinavian composer celebrating an anniversary year, complete the programme. Both Mari Palo and Jussi Myllys studied at the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and both have given recitals and operatic performances throughout Europe.
